LEGAZPI CITY, June 22 (PNA) -- A 32-year-old man fell asleep, dropped into a fishpond, came out safe but got his feet entangled in "kangkong" plants and bumped his head on hard wood at Barangay Sabang, Bulusan, Sorsogon at about 6:35 a.m. Tuesday.
A police report identified the victim as Noli E. Galan, who was a special child and resident of Barangay Looban, Bulusan.
The report reaching Camp Gen. Simeon A. Ola here said the victim was walking when he felt sleepy and lay down at the side of the fishpond but fell in to the pond in the process.
He was seen coming out of the pond but when he was about to walk, his feet got entangled, causing him to fall at the other part of the fishpond where there were hard wood and stones to which his head bumped.
Galang was rushed to the Bulusan Rural Health Unit but was declared dead on arrival due to celebral hemorrhage. (PNA) RMA/FGS/JH/CBD/RSM
