Cops net 4 men for drug in Camarines Norte

LEGAZPI CITY, June 25 (PNA) -- Police in Camarines Norte arrested four suspected drug pushers in separate One Time Big Time operations in three towns of the province from 4:45 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday.

The law enforcers caught Alberto Moral in Purok 1, Barangay Tugos, Paracale; Roberto M.Palmero in Purok 7A, Barangay Bagumbayan, Paracale; Antonio V. Raviz, businessman, in Purok 1, Barangay Sta. Rosa Sur, Jose Panganiban; and Oliver P. Aman, a farmer, in Purok 4, Barangay Calero, Jose Panganiban.

The members of the Jose Panganiban Municipal Police Station (MPS) and Paracale MPS were armed with a search warrant issued by Judge Arniel Dating of the Regional Trial Court Branch 41 in Daet.

Confiscated from the residences of Moral and Palmero were six sachets of shabu each and drug paraphernalia; from Raviz, 23 sachets of shabu, 18 bullets of caliber 22 gun and four bullets of caliber 9mm and drug paraphernalia; and from Aman, one sachet of shabu and three opened plastic sachets with shabu residue.

Personnel of the Labo MPS also swooped down on the residence of suspect Myrna C. Muñoz in Purok 5, Barangay Tulay na Lupa, Labo, Camarines Norte, at about 10 p.m. on the strength of a search warrant but failed to get the suspect.

They found a sachet of shabu and a plastic sachet with marijuana seeds and drug paraphernalia.

The police immediately filed cases for violation of Republic Act 9165 or Anti-illegal Drugs against arrested men and Muñoz.(PNA) RMA/FGS/JH/CBD/pjn
