Cops nab woman wanted for large-scale illegal recruitment, several counts of estafa

LEGAZPI CITY, Feb. 7 (PNA) -- Combined elements of four police units arrested the No. 3 most wanted person in Daraga, Albay on Friday at Bell Mansion, Barangay Pag-asa, Quezon City, a police report said on Sunday.

Joint personnel of Daraga Municipal Police Station, Legazpi City Police Station, Philippine National Police Mobile Group 5 and Criminal Investigation and Division Unit-Quezon City arrested Rebecca B. Rodulfo, 60, single and a resident of No. 54, Jaucian St., Doña Maria Subdivision, Daraga, Albay.

The law enforcers were armed with warrants of arrest issued by Judge Ignacio M. Almodovar of Regional Trial Court Branch 2, Legazpi City for large-scale illegal recruitment, docketed under Criminal Case Nos. 12855 and 12837, with no bail recommended; and for several counts of estafa issued by Judge Pedro Soriano of RTC Branch 5, Legazpi City docketed under CC Nos. 12860 and 12880; Judge Arlinda B. Gratil-Resari of MTCC Branch 1, Legazpi City docketed under CC Nos. 28875 and 28876; and RTC Branch 1, Legazpi City docketed under CC Nos. 12739, 12740, 12902, 12852, 12823, and 12828.

Rodulfo was placed under the custody of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology-Daraga, Albay, pending issuance of commitment order, the report said. (PNA) SCS/FGS/EMC/CBD/ssc
