Boat capsizes off Camarines Sur village; operators, passengers safe

LEGAZPI CITY, Feb. 25 (PNA) -- The operator and passengers of a motorized boat were rescued after it capsized at about 7 p.m. Wednesday at the seawaters of Barangay Anib, Sipocot, Camarines Sur.

A police report said the boat was going to Barangay San Vicente from Barangay Manga of the town when the accident happened.

The passengers would serve as advance party to a medical mission sponsored by the local government unit of Sipocot and Rep. Rolando Andaya Jr.

Saved were Virgel Mark Baldoza, Chito Pena, Cherry San Joaquin, Renne Nebria, Leah Artiaga, Dennis Oliva, Francis Louie Ramos, Arquimedes Dolor, Virgil Francisco, Myel Faith Navarroza, Joana Mae Alemania, Jamir Abejuela, Jay Candelaria, Jay Marbella, Mariel Alemania, Mary Grace Genio, Orly Consulta, Marlon Sto. Domingo, Jojo Saberon, and John Aira Tarvoli.
