LEGAZPI CITY, Oct. 2 (PNA) – The different units of the Philippine National Police Bicol regional office arrested 21 wanted persons in the past three days – nine on Thursday, six on Wednesday and six on Tuesday.
Chief Supt. Augusto M. Marquez, PNP Bicol regional director, on Friday said the arrests made by the various Bicol police offices were in line with the ideals of the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L Plan 2030 and in compliance with the PRO5 CMC No. 20014-02 "Target Output Policy' on campaign against wanted persons.
Arrested on Thursday were Ranol B. Bordeos, Robert M. Ariate, Leonor G. Estrada, Mark Anthony L. Escares, Allan G. Grabamen, Job G. Arizala, Lydia B. Beruela, Marilou T. Solayao and Romeo T. Solayao.
Bordeos was caught by Tabaco City Police Station (TCPS) led by Senior Insp. Dawin A. Asejo for violation of Section 11, Article II of RA 9165 under Criminal Case No. T-6412 with recommended bail of Php200,000.
Elements of Legazpi police, led by Sr. Insp. Domingo B. Tapel collared Ariate on order of Judge Maria Theresa G. San Juan-Loquillano, of Regional Trial Court, Branch 10, Legazpi City for indirect contempt for his refusal to receive the court’s subpoena in CC No. 12815.
Estrada was found by Bulusan police, led by PO3 Marion Arminio Valera at Barangay Madlawon, Bulusan, Sorsogon. He was wanted for attempted homicide docketed under CC No. 3148 with bail fixed at Php40,000.
Calabanga MPS personnel handcuffed Escares, No. 1 Municipal Most Wanted Person, at Barangay San Pablo, Calabanga, Camarines Sur for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Art. II of RA 9165, under CC Nos. RTC 15-2264 and 15-2265 with no bail recommended.
Garlan was cornered at Barangay Obrero, Bulan, Sorsogon by elements of Bulan municipal police station, led by PO2 Warren Razo, for reckless imprudence resulting in serious physical injury and damage to property, with bail fixed at Php18,000.
San Pascual police operatives nabbed Arizala at Barangay San Pedro, San Pascual, Masbate for violation of RA 9287 docketed under CC No. 17398, with a recommended bail of Php10,000.
Beruela was arrested by Sta. Elena police for grave oral defamation with Php6,000 recommended bail.
Still on Thursday, elements of Baras police, led by Insp. Darwin S. Sevilla, apprehended the two Solayaos for qualified theft docketed under CC No. 5595 with no bail recommended.
Earlier, on Wednesday, Milaor police arrested Carlo A. Gonzales and Rowel B. Cabase for violation of PD 1620 (Illegal Gambling) with recommended bail of Php10,000.
Others apprehended on Wednesday were Wilma A. Amparo for violation of BP 22, Mario C. Dineros for violation of RA 9262, Benigno M. Navia for frustrated murder with recommended bail of Php100,000 and Miguel D. Beronio grave threat.
On Tuesday, police bagged Victor A. Añonuevo for violation of RA 9262; Hegino B. Battaler Jr. (No. 1 Municipal Most Wanted Person of Bacacay, Albay) for seven counts of rape with no bail recommende; Salvador P. Salgado for direct assault; Nelo M. Orpiana for violation of Municipal Ordinance No. 0072; Reynaldo G. Galarosa for failure to appear during court hearing; and Antonio V. Hidalgo for attempted homicide. (PNA) RMA/FGS/EMC/cbd
