CAMP GEN. SIMEON A. OLA, Legazpi City, May 11 (PNA) – Nine passengers and the driver of a Metro Manila-bound bus were rushed to hospital after their vehicle turned turtle when it fell into the deep side of the Rolando Andaya Highway in Barangay F. Simeon, Ragay, Camarines Sur, on Sunday night.
Rushed to the Ragay Rural Health were Jessica Abarao, 23; Arnold Bancolita, 20; Reynaldo Calleja, 44; Joselyn Labuguen, 48; Angel Adante, 7; Sulpico Rubio, 44; Simmy Claring, 62; Adolfo Barela, 55; Maricris Bobis, 28; and Uldanico Bladoza, 51, bus driver.
A police report said the accident happened at about 11:00 p.m. when Bladoza lost control of the Metro Manila-bound Arandia Line bus the victims were riding from Albay, at the curved portion of the highway.
The bus dived into the deep right side of the road and turned turtle, causing serious injuries to the victims.
Authorities immediately arrived, applied first aid and brought the wounded passengers and driver to the Ragay Health Unit.(PNA) FPV/FGS/EMC/CBD
