LEGAZPI CITY, Nov. 30 (PNA) -- Three family members died when a truck hit the motorcycle they were riding on along the Maharlika Highway in Barangay Calzada, Ligao City, at about 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
A police report identified the victims who did not reach the Josefina Belmonte Duran Memorial District Hospital alive as Rodolfo Camonce Sr., 50, Emily Camonce, 49, and Jessa Mae Camonce, 11 -- all residents of Barangay Basag, also in the city.
The truck being driven by Jovit Bello, 25, a resident of Sitio Tubgon, Barangay Batang, also in Ligao City was running at the opposite direction when it hit the motorcycle, throwing the victims off the vehicle.
The Caramonces suffered injuries and fractured bones and were rushed by passers-by and bystanders to the hospital but to no avail.
Bello is now detained at the police station while the police are now readying a charge of reckless imprudence resulting in multiple homicide. (PNA) /FGS/EMC/CBD/SSC
