Thieves get valuable items, cash from Sorsogon City vice mayor’s house

LEGAZPI CITY, Nov. 12 (PNA) -- Robbers broke into the house of incumbent vice mayor of Sorsogon City early Wednesday morning, making off about Php 60,000 and other about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday at the City Employees Village, Barangay Cabid-an, Sorsogon City.

Vice Mayor Charo D. Logronio, married and a businessman, said the theft happened while of the family members were in deep sleep at their house at City Employees Vilage, Barangay Cabid-an, Sorsogon City.

A police report said the thieves gained entry at the second floor of the house at about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday and fled with Samsung S4, Apple I-phone, Nokia Lumia, Nokia Asha and about Php60,000 cash.

Police are now investigating the incident and the possible identities of the suspects.(PNA) RMA/FGS/EMC/CBD
