Successful applicants will be fielded with the NSO provincial office in Camarines Sur.
Cynthia Perdiz, the NSO regional director based here, on Wednesday said that among the job vacancies is for a receipt and control clerk in line with their conduct of the CAF in April.
The position needs to be filled up to fast track the conduct of the survey, which intends to create a database to be used for development planning on agriculture and fisheries.
Applicants for this position must be a college graduate, must know simple computer applications, with good moral standing and willing to render overtime service, according to Perdiz.
NSO-Camarines Sur is also in need of 10 statistical researchers for the CPBI, also to be conducted this year.
Applicants, Perdiz said, must be college graduate, preferably with experience and training in census undertaking, computer literate, physically fit, with good moral character, with good interpersonal skills and should not be more than 45 years old.
It will be an advantage if the applicant has experience in dealing with different kinds of clients and has the willingness to render overtime service if needed, she added.
The conduct of CPBI aims to collect and generate information on the performance, levels, structure and trends of economic activities of the formal sector in the entire country for the year 2012.
This is the 15th in the series of economic censuses conducted in the Philippines.
The last economic census was the 2006 CPBI conducted in 2007.
Perdiz said the census will cover manufacturing establishments, wholesale and retail trade, auto repair shops, motorcycles and personal and household goods, hotels and restaurants, transport, storage and communications, among other businesses. (PNA) LAP/FGS/DOC/CBD/SSC
